The Phenomenauts are one of my favorite local bands, not only because they kick ass, they are great musical performers and are totally fun, they are ART CAR ARTISTS TOO!
Oakland, California based sci-fi band The Phenomenauts recently released I’m With Neil, a song and music video that is a fabulous homage to astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. According to Wired, the band was inspired to write the song after seeing Tyson appear on The Daily Show. The Phenomenauts have planned Operation:Handsome Tour, an upcoming tour that begins August 8, 2012 in Chico, California.
