The root of all suffering

I think one of the biggest reasons why so many people on this Earth suffer from such deep depressions is because a part of each of us, deep down in our souls, remembers what it felt like to be home, in the pure boundless loving light of our origins before we came here.

The moment we are squeezed out of our mothers bodies, we are overcome with amnesia.  As innocent babies and then as children we have some recollections of our sweet home of orgin, but as we get older, life and the shadow world we live in, forces each of us to harden and toughen up to protect ourselves from this harsh world. We lose the memory within us, and suffer greatly because of it.

The longing, the grief and the suffering come from the long absence of true, pure love our souls connection to our source love/light is our need to survive.  Sure, when we sleep, we get to leave our bodies and recharge, but not in the same place we once came from.  We can sense this love/light in nature, or a sunset, or the ocean waves, in the sky, in a child's laugh, but that is just a glimmer of what immense true love/light is that our souls heart remembers and longs for.

I think each one of us with depression deeply longs to become the Universe's that we are - AGAIN.  We grieve the connection to that White Blue Light of Pure Oneness, that is the spark of energy that we all are.  There is healing within this light.  It hurts to not be close to it.  The suffering is from feeling separated from it.  Without a clue why we are here, but a hunger to find home and that true loving connection.

Depression is grief from not knowing the truth of who we are and sadness at feeling lost and alone cut off from our source.  It's a good thing this life is just temporary, ain't it?
