I went off low carb starting on Thanksgiving and went back on after New Year’s
Day. I didn’t go crazy with sugar, flour,
potatoes, rice and holiday cheer etc., but I did go to a lot of great parties
and did indulge in all of the usual holiday treats.
When
I finally got up enough nerve to get on the scale after the holidays I was
shocked at what the scale said. I hadn’t
gained any weight at all. In fact, I
lost one pound. AWESOME! I feel like I got away with something.
Low carb is easy to do. I am back on a steady slow weight loss. Now that I have some time off I have been
able to get out and exercise every day so I am feeling the inches melting off
me faster. I do feel it all over
me.
I’m organizing
this summers West Coast Glamping trip up at the Russian River and hope to be
feeling better wearing a swimsuit. It’s
a good goal and something to look forward too.
